I read this yesterday and I've been thinking about it over the last 24 hours. It's mixed up in my head with all of the Wegovy/Semaglutide/Ozempic ads that have been coming into my life from left, right, and center. Nonconformity and authenticity are ABSOLUTELY an uphill battle against the gravity of social pressure (online and offline), capitalistic marketing strategies, family messaging, white supremacy culture, etc. But that resistance is brave and beautiful and liberating, for you and for the people seeing you doing you.
